Laura Bouet, CNM

My name is Laura Bouet, I was born and raised in the beautiful French Alps. I came to the U.S. right after I graduated high school on a tennis scholarship. I was recruited by the University of Missouri Kansas City, where I spent some of the best years of my life playing division 1 tennis and being team captain. Simultaneously, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing there. I worked as a nurse in various units for a few years and gained some amazing experience. But I always wanted to become a midwife. Ever since being a child, I was fascinated by pregnancy and always felt so passionate about the creation and growing of life. So I moved to Denver and attended the University of Colorado where I obtained my Master of Science in Midwifery.

In my spare time, I really enjoy traveling all over the world, especially going back home to France and visiting the other half of my family in Togo (Africa). I am very close to my family and try to spend time with them every opportunity I get. I am so blessed to have their support in everything I do. Tennis has always been a huge part of my life but I enjoy all outdoor activities such as hiking or skiing. I also really enjoy cooking and you can always find me recreating my favorite french dishes.
