In December of 2013, Chelsey received her Bachelor in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry at Northern Arizona University.

She continued with the same university to further her studies. Chelsey then graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

Chelsey is also Certified in Mental Health First Aid.
