Thermachoice
Gynecare Thermachoice is a safe and effective ablation procedure that is performed to reduce your heavy periods to normal levels.
It is a minimally invasive procedure that uses heat to destroy the endometrium. A small balloon is passed into the uterus through a cather; the balloon is filled with fluid that is gently heated and circulated for 8 minutes. The fluid is the drained and the balloon is removed.
In most cases, women can return to their normal activities the next day. The treated uterine lining will shed, like during a period, over the next 7-10 days.
