Mina has loved Women’s Health ever since she set foot in the labor and delivery department as a Labor & Delivery nurse. She received her MSN in Women’s Health from the University of Cincinnati, where she made the Dean’s List. She has worked in various hospitals in medical-surgical, oncology, L&D, antepartum, nursery and triage departments, including being a preceptor for new employees and students. For the past two years, she has lived in Illinois, and is ecstatic to be back in her hometown in the Valley of the Sun. Mina is a native Phoenician and has dreamt of getting out of the freezing Illinois winters ever since she moved away.
Mina has a son in high school and two dogs—a toy poodle and a black pug. Her mom calls Mina's new pug puppy "the little terror", as she is sweet...but also wild. Mina loves photography, hiking and is very much into the intense P90X workout.
