Dr. Rowan grew up here in Phoenix, Arizona, and went to Arcadia High School. After attending Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania on a National Merit Scholarship and graduating Cum Laude in Biology, she returned to Arizona. Here, she attended medical school under the Dean's Scholarship at the University of Arizona and was part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. For her residency, Dr. Rowan moved to San Jose, California, and worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. After residency, she worked for a group practice in Fairfield, California for eight years before returning to Arizona to be closer to her family. Dr. Rowan brought along her two beautiful daughters she adopted from China and their dog, Sophie. In her spare time Dr. Rowan loves to crochet and garden.
