Kermit the Frog was wrong… it is easy being green! From electronic medical records, to electronic faxes, Drs. Goodman & Partridge, OB/GYN has made great leaps forward in going “green.” Our next opportunity to do our part for the environment comes with paperless payroll! Beginning with the payroll of February 12, 2010, paper checks and paper check stubs, will no longer be distributed.
Employees will have the choice of either having pay direct deposited into their bank account(s), or receive their salary in the form of a Chase Pay Card Plus. With the Chase Pay Card Plus program, pay is electronically deposited to a Chase Pay Card account each pay period. Then the employee has immediate and convenient access to his/her money at automated teller machines (ATM). The card also can be used at retail locations that accept Visa debit cards.
What about pay stubs, you ask? Pay stub information will be available on-line to view or print 24 hours a day. We are initiating an Employee Access Online through Paychex. We are very excited to take this step in helping to protect our environment by going to a paperless payroll.
