Happy anniversary to all of us today! 34 years ago today, Dr. Goodman opened this Practice in the small town of Chandler, Arizona. At the time, Chandler had a population of roughly 25,000 people. To put that in perspective, there are over 250,000 people living in Chandler today. A very interesting way to look at things as far as the growth of the Practice is that we have more active patients today than the city of Chandler had as a population in 1976 when the Practice opened. Here are just a few of our many accomplishments over the years:

- Our Practice employs the only two OB/GYN physicians in the history of Chandler Regional Medical Center to be elected Chief of Staff (Dr. Goodman twice and Dr. Partridge once).

- We delivered the first baby of the 2009 New Year in Arizona.

-  One of our physicians performed the first ever daVinci Robotic Surgery at Mountain Vista Medical Center.

- Our Practice performed the first surgery, the first vaginal delivery and the first Cesarean Section at Chandler Regional Medical Center when it opened in 1984.

- Our physicians delivered the only two sets of triplets in the history of Chandler Regional.

- We were the first OB/GYN Practice in Arizona to offer 3D and 4D Live Motion Ultrasound.

- Our Practice converted from paper charts to an Electronic Medical Records system.

- We are the only medical Practice in the country to offer Sabbaticals for all levels of staff and providers.

- We honor the "One Hospital Philosophy" -- Our doctors are never scheduled to be on call at the hospital and seeing patients in the office at the same time.

- Our Practice currently provides for 139 employees as their primary source of income.

- This year we will open our 6th medical office and add a 5th hospital (and potentially a 7th medical office).

Thank you to all of our patients and staff for all that you do to make this Practice successful. The Practice is what it is today because of the individual and collective efforts of each employee, and the trust and confidence of our patients.

"No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee." - John Donne
