Touring Banner Ironwood Medical Center: My Perspective

This morning, I was privileged to tour the newly constructed Banner Ironwood facility in Queen Creek with management and Providers at Drs. Goodman & Partridge, OB/GYN as led by Deb Krmpotic, CEO for Banner Ironwood Medical Center.

As I walked the halls and stepped into the large operating rooms and private patient rooms, I witnessed the endless potential for exceptional quality care. This, of course, is evidenced by design guided by patient-centered care and by principles that nurture a healing environment–goals that are without a doubt in step with our own as a Practice. Additionally, I was absolutely impressed by the sound decision of the administration at Banner to maintain its course on staying “cutting-edge.”

My only regret was my inability to attend the dedication of the facility. I would have loved to have been part of the electricity and excitement as generated by a community in need of a local hospital.

To be quite frank, I found it very exciting to be a part of a process that will in the end benefit the Queen Creek and Johnson Ranch communities.
