As the leaders in providing the best pregnancy care for each woman and her baby, we know that training is essential at all levels of our medical practice. We also know that having fun and upbeat employees makes the joys of being pregnant that much better for our special and wonderful patients.
On May 6th, our medical assistants that have been asked to train new medical assistants gathered for a Mentor Training meeting. The theme was Stuck On You. The Mentors are asked to stick to their trainee like they are joined at the hip. To illustrate this, we sewed together 8 sets of scrubs. The two teams of four competed to see who could make four ice cream sundaes the fastest (clips of the ice cream portion to be posted soon). Three of each team was blindfolded, while the fourth instructed the other three which toppings to add. After they were all made and eaten (yummy!) the Mentors had to make their way around the Business Office in their eight-woman getup. It was a sight to see! Thanks to Office Managers John Sisk and Scott Hanson for such a great team building exercise! Oh, and in case you are curious, the BLUE team won the Ice Cream Challenge!
