When choosing a medical center for laboring and delivering that new special addition to your family, you must take into account certain characteristics that will ultimately make a difference in the outcome of your delivery.
A question you may ask may be, "what determines the quality of care on a labor and delivery unit?"
A fair answer may be: "providers and nurses facilitating a healing environment by (1) utilizing clear communication among the healthcare team members to ensure safety during your admission, (2) providing attentive personal care, (3) being responsive to your needs, (4) sharing their own personal experiences to enhance your peripartum period, and (5) empathizing with you at a most exciting time."
Over the last several years since opening in 2007, Mountain Vista Medical Center Labor & Delivery in Mesa, Arizona has taken great strides to embody these characteristics and to attempt to meet and to exceed expectations of the Medical Center's campaign to "be the best" when you "want the best."
Without question, all of the aforementioned qualities are manifested at Mountain Vista Medical Center, which can be validated by my own personal testimonial-the delivery and safe arrival of my twin boys at the Medical Center. Our experience was definitely enhanced by nursing and provider care given with a personal touch.
Even looking at my children now as I write this blog, I am reminded of the attending obstrtrician, surgical assistant, circulating labor and delivery nurse, nurse anesthetist, scrub technician, nursery nurses, attending neonatologist, postpartum nurses and numerous other providers and staff at Mountain Vista Medical Center that were very much instrumental in ensuring the safe arrival of the healthy and happy boys that I am fortunate to see grow and develop everyday.
As a soon to be mother, you can rest assured that Mountain Vista Medical Center Labor and Delivery will make every effort to meet and to exceed your expectations when you "want the best."
